I didn't notice that it was a short story when i purchased it; lesson learned.
I really enjoyed the writing and was disappointed when it ended after only several pages.
This fiction novel introduces a man that serves his country by doing what he does best...as an assassin.
It describes in detail the preparation and actions that are necessary for such a mission.
The novel is brief. It's a quick read. It's a must read.
I enjoyed reading it and highly recommend it.

Drones have had a dramatic effect on our country's war on terrorism. But, when the possibility of collateral damage prevents their use, alternative measures are required. Author Joyce has penned a fascinating, timely account of a warrior, a sniper, whose mission is to terminate a fanatical high-ranking al-Queda operative in Aden, Yemen. The writer has obviously done extensive research, enabling him to portray the protagonist's preparations for the kill in an interesting, informative way. Sniper Roy Scott, credited with eight kills in Kuwait and Iraq, lives a double life, as a loving father in North Carolina and as a sniper, whose sharpshooting skills were honed during his years in the Marine Corps. An exciting tale, this is a worthy, fun page-turner. Highly recommended!
